Standardize quoting across your team - same rates, every quote
When Bob quotes $50/hour and Sue quotes $65/hour for the same machine, you've got a pricing problem. NanoQuote gives everyone the same rates, the same service catalog, and the same formulas.
Why pricing varies when quoting is manual
Everyone has their own spreadsheet
Bob's spreadsheet uses different formulas than Sue's. Neither matches what you told them to charge.
Rates drift over time
Material prices went up in March. Someone updated their spreadsheet. Someone didn't.
"I just round it to feel right"
Manual quoting invites gut-feel adjustments. Sometimes that means leaving money on the table.
Services get priced inconsistently
Deburring is $0.10/part on one quote, $0.25/part on another. Customers notice.
No visibility into who quoted what
A customer calls about an old quote. You have no idea who sent it or what formula they used.
Training new people takes forever
Explaining your pricing logic to a new hire means walking them through 47 spreadsheet tabs.
How to standardize pricing across your team
Configure rates in one place
Set machine operating rates, material prices, and service fees in NanoQuote's settings. Everyone pulls from the same source.
Use a shared service catalog
Define common services (deburring, tapping, setup) with fixed prices. Apply them to quotes with one click instead of typing prices by hand.
Let the formula do the math
NanoQuote calculates pricing from configured inputs. No one needs to remember the formula - it's built in.
Review quotes before they go out
See the pricing breakdown for any quote. Catch inconsistencies before customers do.
Track who quoted what
Every quote logs the user, timestamp, and changes. If something looks off, you can trace it.
How NanoQuote keeps your team aligned
Centralized rate configuration
Machine rates, material prices, and operator costs are set once and apply to every quote. No more spreadsheet drift.
Service catalog with fixed pricing

Per-batch vs per-piece services
Some services bill per part, others bill per batch. Configure it once, and NanoQuote handles the math.
Pricing breakdown transparency
Every quote shows how material, machine time, and services add up. Easy to audit, easy to explain.
User-level quote history
See which team member created or modified a quote. Track changes over time.
Organization settings for defaults
Set default tax rate, payment terms, operator rate, and display preferences at the org level. Quotes inherit these automatically.

You can adjust pricing inputs on a per-quote basis. The system uses your configured defaults, but you can override them when needed (and the change is logged).
Change the rate in your settings. Future quotes will use the new rate. Existing quotes keep their original pricing unless you recalculate them.
Quote history shows when pricing was recalculated. For rate configuration changes, you'd track those in your settings changelog or internal documentation.
NanoQuote supports multiple machines, each with its own operating rate, setup time, and cutting parameters. Quotes use the machine assigned to the job.
