Service catalog
Build reusable quote-level and part-level services (per-piece and per-batch).
The service catalog is a reusable library of non-cutting services you can add to quotes and parts.

Where to find the service catalog
Open Settings → Configuration → Service Catalog.
Service types
NanoQuote supports two main types of services:
- Quote-level services: charged once per quote (programming, packaging, freight, admin fees).
- Part-level services: attached to a specific part (deburr, tapping, finishing).
Part-level services support two pricing modes:
- Per piece: unit price × part quantity.
- Per batch: charged once per part line item (regardless of quantity).

Time-based pricing
Both quote-level and part-level services can be saved as Time Based entries:
- Enter minutes and an hourly rate; NanoQuote calculates the unit price automatically.
- The rate defaults to your organization’s Baseline Operator Rate.
- Enable Use baseline operator rate to keep the catalog entry synced when your baseline rate changes.
Using the catalog while quoting
- In the Services tab, use the Service Catalog dropdown to prefill quote-level services.
- In the Parts tab, add part services and pick a catalog entry to prefill defaults.
- Time-based entries automatically set minutes and rate on the line.
Tips:
- Use Always show as line item on a quote-level service to keep it visible even when customer display mode is set to Part costs.
- Prefer per-batch pricing for setup-style charges you want to naturally “discount” at higher quantities.
